We went to Trattoria Dal Mantoan in Gazzo Veronese for dinner with friends and it was a truly lovely evening. We started with a very good, generous starter, a parmigiana basket with crumble and vegetable tempura: perfectly fried, light and tasty. Next came the two-tone cocoa tortelli filled with braised beef, simply outstanding — you can tell they are carefully homemade. Then two rare rib steaks, tender, flavourful meat cooked to perfection. To finish on a sweet note, the rose cake, incredibly soft and delicious. The wine was excellent too: two great bottles of Valpolicella Superiore and a passito paired with dessert. Impeccable service, kind, courteous and friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended! A trattoria where you eat really well and feel just as good.

A lovely trattoria in Gazzo Veronese, offering a well-made traditional menu at affordable prices. I went to a “Pumpkin” themed evening, with pumpkin as the common thread running through every dish. Each course was served with a different type of wine. Everything was very good, recommended!
